Andrea Jane Corr, MBE Andrea Jane Corr is an Irish musician, singer and songwriter. Corr started her career in 1990 with the Celtic rock group The Corrs, alongside Caroline Sharon Jim. Andrea Corr, an Irish musician, songwriter and actor is one of the Corrs. She received the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire award. She is well known as an integral part of the Celtic pop and rock band The Corrs. The singer also sings with The Corrs, and is able to perform a variety of instruments. Andrea began her professional career as an actress in the year 1991. Then she was a musician and stage artist. She was the voice of The Quest for Camelot, a Warner Bros. cartoon film that was released in 1998. Andrea is the owner of six studio albums under her name, along with two compilation albums including four live albums as well as one mix album. The charitable work she has done has also been acknowledged. Andrea as well as her partner, a stockbroker, have two kids. Andrea started learning to play the piano by playing the tinny. Gerry was her teacher when she began to learn the piano. Andrea plays the ukulele. Andrea spent the majority of her teenage life honing and perfecting her singing skills. Her teenage years were spent developing her musical talents. Andrea was a student at Dun Lughaidh Convent and was a part of many school productions.
