Andrea Jane Corr, MBE Andrea Jane Corr, MBE is an Irish singer-songwriter and musician. Corr along with Caroline Sharon and Jim, first made their appearance in the role of The Corrs' lead singer in 1990. Andrea Corr was born in Ireland. She's a singer-songwriter as well as a musician and actor. Her most well-known role is the lead singer of the Celtic-folk and pop rock band The Corrs. She also sings for the group, and she can play a range of instruments. Beginning her acting career in 1991 Andrea later emerged as an accomplished musician as well as a stage artist. Andrea was voiced by the character in The Quest for Camelot, an animated Warner Bros. cartoon film which was released in 1998. Andrea has six studios albums to her name, along with two compilations albums including four live albums as well as one mix album. Furthermore, she has also received awards for her humanitarian work. Andrea is engaged to her boyfriend, a stockbroker and has two children. Andrea started music lessons at the age of eight, learning the Tin flute. Gerry was her teacher at the time she started learning piano. Andrea also is a Ukulele player. Her teenage years were spent polishing her music techniques. She would sing with her brothers before eventually gaining the title of the lead singer of the group. Andrea attended "Dun Lughaidh Convent frequently participated in school plays.
